How to Play Daily Holes — Golf Rules & Scoring

Nine holes, a fresh start every day
Everyone gets the same course, wind and hazards for each UTC date. A new course arrives at midnight UTC. Your first completed ranked daily round is final; return to an unfinished round to continue where you left off.
Carry, rollout and timing
Tap to aim; drag to scout the course. Choose one of nine clubs for the carry and rollout you need. Lock your line and stop the meter. The gold band just below 100 gives clean contact; going beyond 100 adds distance and sideways error. Longer clubs have faster meters.
Finish inside the scoring rings
Old unfinished rounds restart on the upgraded course, with their original progress kept as a backup. Completed historical results stay unchanged; current rankings use the current engine only.
Scores and rankings
Sign in before starting to save a round to your account. The server recomputes every shot. The daily board ranks the lowest total. The weekly board runs Monday through Sunday UTC and ranks most completed daily rounds first, then lowest total strokes. Guest rounds stay on this device and cannot be submitted later as ranked scores.
Practice and target range
Practice has no effect on daily rankings. Finish today’s ranked course to practise it; otherwise practice generates another course. The target range gives five shots: each shot earns up to 1,000 points based on distance to the flag. Your best completed range total today appears on its own board.
Friends, groups and replays
Exchange friend codes and accept requests to compare scores. Create a private group and share its invite code with your friends. Select the group on the leaderboard. Your profile shows daily streaks, aces, average score against par and your last 100 completed rounds. Open a round to step through its recorded shots.
